  • Isaac Newton was born on Christmas Day, 1643 in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England.

  • His father died three months before Isaac was born, and his stepfather died in 1653.

  • He didn't start school until he was twelve years old.

  • Isaac Newton went to Grammar School in Grantham.

  • He also wrote some books that had to do with scientific things, and some books weren't about science at all.
  • Sadly, Isaac Newton died on March 20,1727 in London.

  • He received the honor of being elected a scholar at Cambridge University.

  • Cambridge University closed in the summer of 1665, so Newton taught himself astronomy, mathematics, and physics. This is one of the ways Sir Isaac Newton got interested into space.

  • He got his Masters degree on July 7, 1669.

  • He had many jobs in his life. He was an english physicist, a mathematician astronomer, inventor, natural philosopher, and an alchemist theologian.
